Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to the Godfrey Fund. Donations are used to support the
library's day-to-day operatioins, grow our collections, and offer services to our members and the general
public. The library accepts donations of cash and securties. Also consider naming the Godfrey Memorial
Library as a beneficiary in your estate plans. As always, please consult your personal tax advisor when
considering a major charitable gift. Thank you for your generosity.
If you are subject to Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) rules with your IRA, consider making an IRA
Charitable Rollover donation to the library to help satisfy all or part of your RMD requirement. As a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization, the library meets the IRS stipulations for such donations. Our federal tax ID
number is 06-0655485. For more information about this option, visit the
and scroll down to the section on "Qualified charitable distributions."
Upon receipt of your donation we will send you a letter of acknowledgment via USPS. We are also
required to certify that you received no goods or services in exchange for your contribution. Therefore, the
full amount of your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by IRS regulations.
