The library sponsors a genealogy club that provides a forum for outside speakers or Godfrey staff to address
and discuss a variety of genealogical topics of interest. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the club
meetings to do research at the library. Genealogy Club is free to Godfrey Premium Members; $10 per
session for Godfrey Basic Members and the general public. (Visitors attending club meetings are not
charged the day user fee.)
Recurrence: 1st Saturday of the month, except for July and August, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Godfrey staff has set aside designated times during each month to consult with you on your research
questions and help you find answers. No pre-registration necessary. Bring your laptop and whatever
information you already have with you to make the most of these useful sessions. Free to Godfrey

In certain months the library offers special programs where attendees can engage with our staff and each other
around particular genealogical interests. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced researcher, these
programs can help. The library remains open until 1:00 p.m. for those who wish to do research. Free for

CENTRAL CONNECTICUT BU GROUP
Open to anyone who has earned Boston University's Certificate in Genealogical Research. Participants
gather to share their expertise and experiences. No fee.
Recurrence: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6:000 - 7:30 p.m.
Library staff and board members are available to give lectures and workshops on wide-ranging topics related
